"EFTROM" is an acronym for "Epitaph for the Race of Man." I could have ignored the minor words and gone with ERM, but that's the noise British authors have their characters make when thinking, the equivalent of America's (properly spelled) "um."
The phrase "epitaph for the race of man" is the title of a poem by Edna St. Vincent Millay. I do like some poetry--hers included--but I'm more of a literal person than most poetry is written for. Pablo Neruda has nice imagery, but I'm convinced there was absolutely nothing going on in his mind when he put together his verses, other than, "Hey, this is nice imagery." Similarly, I have no idea what Millay's poem is about, and although I believe poetry analysis is one of the least useful endeavors one can put his time into, I still do appreciate the title and feel it appropriate to name this blog.
So what is this blog about?
Human civilization is falling apart. Members of certain cultures, destructive ones, are being more fruitful than members of other, more civilized ones. The white population shrinks, its culture suppressed, while other races grow, their cultures embraced and institutionally advocated. When a destructive force grows and there is no rebellion against it, it ultimately destroys itself . . .but not before managing to destroy everything else.
And so you have the death of human civilization. It's a long ways off, I know, but as all societies succumb to the Second Law of Thermodynamics, so too will the larger society of Humanity, of the race of man. We are writing its epitaph.
Please do comment if you feel like it. Alternatively, you can send me messages at my affiliated and much more active page on Tumblr.
But note: "You’re racist" isn’t an argument; it’s just an attempt to silence. It doesn't work on me, so don't waste your time.
